The buzz around San Francisco Giants prospect Jhonny Level continues to get louder. Level, the 18-year-old phenom from Venezuela, is coming off another terrific week in the Arizona Complex League, one that landed him on the Baseball America Hot Sheet for action last week. This isn't the first time the publication has pointed at Level. The publication noted that many scouts consider him to be the best prospect in the ACL, and he's already considered the No. 9 prospect in the organization per Baseball America.

It was publicly clear that Devers refused to play first base this season for Boston when Triston Casas went down. One example of this was the New York Post's Jon Heyman giving the deal an “A+” on Monday on "MLB Now."

The San Francisco Giants recently traded for a new superstar and likely found their next All-Star representative while doing so. MLB recently released their latest round of All-Star voting and just one player sits in the top two of their position while three others are still in the top 10. Guys like Logan Webb, Robbie Ray, Camilo Doval, Tyler Rogers and Randy Rodriguez have all had great campaigns and would be deserving of looks. As for the position players, that actually are voted upon, recently acquired star Rafael Devers is in second place for designated hitters with 1,103, 085.

Slugger Rafael Devers, acquired earlier this month in the blockbuster five-player deal with the Boston Red Sox, is nursing some soreness in his groin, according to the San Francisco Chronicle's Shayna Rubin. As a result, the Giants are delaying Devers' much-anticipated move to first base. Giants manager Bob Melvin said the Giants are “trying to be cognizant of (Devers) working at first base,” according to the Mercury News' Justice delos Santos, but there's “no timetable as to when he would play first in a game.”
